HCR Spliced Reins

Product Description

Several years ago, a customer requested that I replicate a popular clinicians reins. I did, and loved the style- but wasn’t particularly happy with the execution. That led me to develop these reins, which you will not find anywhere else. They feature a buckle slobber strap spliced directly to your rope reins. This end is very easy to change from bit to bit, and will work with a snaffle or a shanked bit, making these the perfect, all around set of reins. The straps come in black, harness or latigo, with loads of buckle options.

Please note- rein length is measured from end of slobber strap, so TOTAL length of reins. I go from the center hole- so you will have a couple inches of variance either way. You can also add rein knots if desired. The green pair is shown with 5 rein knots- If you choose 1 knot, it will be placed at your reins center. The first pair of knots will be placed 12 inches down, and any subsequent knots will be 8 inches down from there. If you’d like more than one color, just make a note when you checkout and I can do as many colors as you’d like.
