This rope was designed especially for Half Circle Ranch. It is a 9/16″ double braid polyester rope with a 24 carrier cover- this rope was built according to the cordage institutes standards for rope, and it’s size is the same as the rope used by CA and PP. This rope has great body and feel- it’s a lovely rope, and comes in a plethora of fabulous colors. This lead comes finished with an eye splice- you can hook it directly to your halter, or you have the option to purchase hardware and I will send your lead assembled. If you would like to add hardware, simply choose the ‘add hardware’ option, and another drop down will appear with your hardware choices.If you want your hardware permanently attached, make a note when you checkout and i will splice the hardware to the lead. The tail end of your lead will be backspliced, which weights it, giving it that desirable feel and balance. It will then be finished with a leather popper- and you can choose the color! Each lead rope is hand made, to order- we can make any length, so if you don’t see the length desired just let me know. See all of our rope colors here.
Additional images show the lead rope with a trigger bull added- and also show you how to attach your lead directly to your halter. This lead does not come with any hardware unless you order it- however, if ordered, I will assemble, as pictured.

Quality rope at a good price that comes in a variety of colors to suit your needs. Made from Polyester, the same material used for sail lines, tent guy lines and horse lead lines, so it naturally is UV resistant and handles salt very well as your horse sweats. Comes with an eye hook with your choice of hardware stitched in. I prefer my rope natural without hardware and just loop it around a halter, or I could loop a snap for convenience which can be easily removed. These are great for leading or training with the included popper. Ideal length for leading or training is 10′ – 12′ for miniature horses and 16′ for full size horses. Excellent feel, strong and heavy duty rope that should last for decades with proper care.
