Product Description
Here is a Natural Hackamore made popular by a certain, ‘savvy’ clinician. It’s a rope halter, tied to accommodate the addition of a mecate rein for bitless riding. Works really well for ground training as well, as you can step off of your horse and send him out for some groundwork. Excellent for starting horses under saddle, or giving your older horse a ‘break’ from the bit.
Lots and lots of options for your hackamore. We can add decorative noseband braiding or wrapping, or add a browband for extra stability. Reins can be made in the traditional, 22′ mecate length, OR, if you don’t plan on groundwork and just want a riding hack, they can be tied in a the 10 or 12′ length, which eliminates the additional lead! Lots of fantastic colors to choose from.
First hackamore shown is a 4 knot stiff with a 22′ mecate rein, in the color black/ blue/ grey. The second hack shown was tied with our soft rope, 2 knots, with a braided noseband- and shows the 12′ rein.
